New meanings because of technology

In my lifetime, the words or terms "mouse, monitor, boot, surf, bits, memory, web, net, on line, Apple, application, program, friend or friended, MySpace, laptop, desktop, CD, disc/disk" and many others have changed meanings or gained additional meanings. This trend is continuing even as I type.
