That's fracking awesome!

Bonnie posted about one use of "fracking." In one of my favorite worlds--the world of TV's "Battlestar Gallactica", they use the term as their version of the "f" word. Because it is a fantasy world, they are using it as THE word not some watered down version of it. You know when you hear it that the characters are actually saying that evil word in their society. The writers were very smart in creating this word and making it evident to the viewer that this was THE word in their universe. It helps you to get the seriousness of situations rather than it seeming like they are using a less offensive version of the "f" word. Of particular note is "Mother Fracker!"
